Between Wed 17/2/21 at 8pm to Sat 20/2/21 at 6.45pm, my bicycle was stolen from a locked storage cage in the secure carpark of my apartment building. The perpetrators cut through the metal slot where the bolt slides in to gain forced entry into the storage cage. No other items were taken, only the bicycle. Usually, only residents and guests of residents are able to access the parking garage through one entry/exit for cars, and 4 residential lifts.
In the weekend prior to the incident, I had noticed my bicycle (which was parked in an indoor bicycle rack near the entrance of the parking garage exit) had had its back wheel dismantled but not taken. I had moved the bicycle including the dismantled back wheel into my locked storage cage for safekeeping on the night of 12/2/21 until I had time to fix the bike back together.
